Abstract

Twenty-eight components were detected from the extract of Artemisia igniaria, which included four triterpenoids, eight p-coumaric acid long chain alkyl esters, seven flavonoids and nine common plant constituents. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods. This is the first recorded instance of β-glutinanol and cis-p-coumaric acid eicosanyl ester occurring in nature.
